Volunteer-run 501(c)(3) founded in 1977 and one of the oldest and largest running and fitness clubs in Southern California, now in its 50th clinic season. The Sunday clinic at Loma Linda University's Drayson Center opens with a 30-minute talk from a guest speaker on some aspect of training, then members head out in pace groups for training miles - the program takes walkers and runners from a first 5K through a first or next marathon.
Schedule
6:30amRoughly a 30-minute clinic with announcements and a guest speaker on training, then members split into pace groups for the week's training miles. Distance varies with the published training schedule. This is the club's only organized run - weekday mileage is prescribed but run on your own.
